As the follow-up to a book i quite liked (Camino Island) I had high hopes -- just to see them drown in the authors just too
professional, industrialized text production. Yes, the figures from the first story in that environment reoccurred, but instead
of refining the characters that he painted with quite some detail in the first book, here ist just came down to reusing them
without explanation, without motivation. A lost opportunity to me.
The story was... just OK. Too constructed overall, not consistent. And most of all not captivating as some of Grishams books
are.
